A little over 10 years ago we started this business with not much more than an idea. United by a passion for cool products and the love of the outdoors, we spent a lot of late nights in a garage putting in sweat equity and along the way we adopted our motto, “Stand Apart.” The idea was pulled from our mission of “stand apart through industry shaping innovation, fresh ideas and simplicity to create a product that defines a lifestyle.” Never did we foresee a future where Standing Apart would be so necessary in the way it is with the current COVID-19 crisis.
First things first: our employees, customers and vendors are all part of our family and mean the world to us. Doing our part in this uncertain time is a no-brainer. At BOTE, that looks like encouraging our corporate staff to work from their homes, while doing everything we can to help mitigate the spread of the virus. We also canceled all employee travel and any corporate events until at least April 15th.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to all the people affected, and to the small businesses, employees and families this is going to impact: physically, emotionally, and economically. There’s no measurement for the years of blood, sweat and tears poured into an idea that we all believe in. We truly feel for everyone.
We couldn’t be more grateful and appreciative of your support and patronage and of the loyalty and dedication of our colleagues, especially in times like these. The country is counting on all of us to help navigate through this together now, and to rebuild after.
