Rail Rac System

Removable slide tracks can be mounted to 6 different locations across the rails of the Rackham Aero. These slide tracks allow for additional gear like paddle clips, Sandspear clips, or even fishing rod holders. Plus, Rail Rac attachments can be converted to screw directly into the 1/4"-20 mounts.

**Mixed Experience with Rackham Aero Kayak Package**

"### Rackham Aero Review I ordered the Rackham Bug Slinger kayak package because it looked like a good deal. A few days after placing the order, I received all the accessories, but the board was missing. When I checked FedEx, it said the delivery was canceled. BOTE didn’t notify me, so when I reached out, they informed me that the color I ordered was no longer available. That was a bummer! However, Sarah from customer service was great. She offered me a different color option and a $150 gift card. I chose the camo color, thinking it would be good for fishing since I wasn’t keen on the other options. When the board arrived, it didn’t include the straps pictured with the Bug Slinger, so I couldn't strap down the sand spear and rudder cable, which was another disappointment. I had some fishing trips planned, so I intended to use the $150 gift card for the necessary accessories for the sand spear and other gear (rail racks and holders). Unfortunately, the gift card didn’t arrive until I messaged them about it four days in a row. By then, I had already ordered the accessories for an upcoming fishing trip with friends I hadn't seen in a while, and they wouldn't let me adjust the order. So, I ended up buying a Kula cooler with the gift card, which I didn’t really need. The process started off bad, got better, and then ended on a sour note. It didn’t help that the current promotion offers a $150 gift card for spending the same amount I did, making it feel like I didn’t get anything extra for the inconvenience of receiving a different board with fewer features. Despite these issues, the board is still great, and I do appreciate their effort to help."

Truly a backwater BOTE

"I have both a 12'4" Rackham Aero Classic and this new Bugslinger Backwater. The only thing the Classic was missing is Rail Tracs and now that has been solved. I absolutely love the access this gives me to all of the skinny spots in our local area, especially in the winter where the fish are holding tight to warm shallow pockets between tides. Between our Rackhams and Breezes I was able to show a small group of friends here on vacation nearly everything Tampa Bay has to offer."

Care + Storage
  1. Rinse off With Clean Water After each Use
    Rinsing off residue, debris, and salt water from your Aero will ensure it stays looking new for years to come. A damp cloth or Magic Eraser will also safely remove any dirt or scuffs that may have occurred while in use. 
  2. Store In A Cool, Dry Place
    When storing your Aero rolled, let it dry completely before rolling back into the bag. Always store your Aero in a cool, dry place or a shady area out of reach of direct sunlight, to avoid weakening or fading of colors.
  3. Keep Out Of Direct Sunlight When Not In Use
    Over time, the sun can both weaken the material and seams and increases the pressure beyond its design limits. If your Aero is out of the water and not in use, move it to a shady place out of direct sunlight.
  4. Reduce PSI When Not In Use
    If you must leave your Aero out of the water and in direct sunlight or choose to store it partially inflated, reduce pressure until the board is compressible by hand.
